"Jamia Safia Allai " is a vital branch of Jamia Islamia Bana Allai, working day and night to equip the women and young girls of the region with higher Islamic education in a strictly Islamic environment. The institute teaches the complete 'Dars-e-Nizami' curriculum approved by the Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan, which includes premium sciences such as the Holy Quran, Translation & Commentary (Tafseer), Hadith, Principles of Hadith, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Arabic Language & Literature.
This prestigious department has already graduated thousands of female students, elevating them to the respected status of 'Aalimah'. Alongside the long-term theological courses, the institute provides structured classes in Quran recitation (Nazra), Tajweed, calligraphy, and compulsory contemporary education up to the primary level.
Furthermore, special classes without any age limit have been established for local and elderly women to learn the reading and translation of the Holy Quran, fostering a deep understanding of faith among all families.
🎯 Objective & Purpose of Establishment
Due to the rugged and remote mountainous terrain of Allai in the Battagram district, the female literacy rate in both religious and secular education was historically close to 0%. Most women were completely deprived of correct Quranic recitation. In these critical circumstances, the establishment of a secure center providing a high moral and spiritual environment with full modesty was indispensable. Today, Alhamdulillah, the presence of qualified Aalimahs in almost every household stands witness to the revolutionary role this blessed institution has played in changing the destiny of the region.
⭐ Distinctive Features & Expansion Projects
Jamia Safia Allai maintains the following prominent features to enrich the academic development and moral upbringing of its students:
- Special Focus on Arabic Language: To cultivate a deep appreciation for classical texts and literature, students undergo intensive practical training in daily Arabic conversation (Al-Muhadathah Al-Arabiyyah).
- Social Reformation & Weekly Lectures: For spiritual grooming, exclusive reformation and educational lectures are held every Thursday for local women, drawing large attendance.
- Free Education & Temporary Setup: Education is provided completely free of charge to all students. Currently, due to space limitations in the permanent structure, boarding facilities, meals, and vocational tailoring programs are temporarily suspended, operating on a day-scholar basis.
🏢 Commencement of a Grand 5-Story Building Construction:
Alhamdulillah! To resolve this spatial limitation and provide all modern and statutory educational facilities under one roof, the construction of a brand new 5-story permanent building has commenced and is progressing rapidly. By the grace of Allah and the support of dedicated donors, this grand project will reach its completion within the next **two years, Insha'Allah**.
Upon completion of this five-story building, it will not only launch permanent boarding (hostel system), dining services, and vocational training centers but will also implement a **completely segregated and modest Public High School System** within the same building, ensuring our girls excel in modern contemporary sciences within Islamic boundaries.
📝 Examination System & Certification
To maintain academic excellence, both national and internal examination modules are kept strictly transparent and rigorous:
- National Examinations: Centralized exams are conducted under the supervision of Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan at specified academic intervals, and official valid certifications are issued to successful students.
- Internal Trimester Assessment: For Nazra, Tajweed, and other non-board grades, the academy conducts three periodic examinations a year (Quarterly, Mid-term, and Final Annual Examination).
- Annual Award Ceremony: To encourage exceptional academic achievements and top positions, special annual awards and gifts are presented by the institution.
📜 Rules, Regulations & Admission Criteria
Prospective candidates seeking admission to Jamia Safia Allai must strictly adhere to the following conditions:
- New admissions officially open during the last days of Ramadan, and the formal academic year starts immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr in Shawwal. The final announcement is published during Ramadan.
- For admission to advanced grades, the student must have passed the previous grade and provide a valid verification transcript or roll number slip from an accredited institution.
- Observing full Shariah-compliant modesty (Hijab & Abaya), maintaining an Islamic appearance, and completely abstaining from any activity contradicting Islamic jurisprudence is the primary and mandatory condition for all.
- Students must ensure strict punctuality and absolutely avoid leaves or absence without a verified Shariah excuse.
