Darse Nizami Department (Islamic Scholar Course)

📖 Introduction & Historical Background

The comprehensive eight-year international curriculum designed for acquiring authentic Islamic sciences, Shariah law, and Arabic literature is known as "Darse Nizami". Originating from the South Asian subcontinent, this prestigious curriculum has become the largest and most credible source for propagating prophetic knowledge across the globe, commonly referred to as the 'Alim Course' today.

This historic curriculum was founded in the 18th century CE by the great Islamic scholar of his time, Mullah Nizamuddin Sihalwi Lakhnawi (RA). He synthesized the academic and administrative requirements of his era into a balanced framework that endured centuries of change. Along with Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Exegesis (Tafseer of Jalalayn & Baydawi), and Hadith collections (such as Mishkat al-Masabih and Sihah Sittah), he integrated rational sciences like Mathematics, Astronomy, and Geometry as core components.

At Jamia Islamia Banna Allai, this magnificent curriculum is taught in strict accordance with the guidelines set by Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan, meticulously adapted to modern standards under the supervision of highly qualified and dedicated scholars. This eight-year course is categorized into four fundamental levels:

1. Marhala Aama (1st & 2nd Year)
2. Marhala Khasa (1st & 2nd Year)
3. Marhala Aliya (1st & 2nd Year)
4. Marhala Alamiya (1st & 2nd Year)

🎯 Core Objective and Vision of Education

No human society can achieve absolute peace, harmony, and moral excellence without the spiritual and intellectual guidance of deeply rooted religious scholars. If a society is deprived of the divine light of Islamic knowledge, it succumbs to modern trials, innovations (Bid'ah), and misguidance, leading to social collapse.

The primary aim of Darse Nizami at Jamia Islamia Allai is to cultivate competent, pious, and sincere Islamic scholars who can guide the Muslim Ummah effectively in this era of intellectual challenges and skepticism. Our target is to groom individuals who do not merely serve in mosques and schools, but also present a practical example to the world in social, commercial, and financial matters according to universal Islamic values.
